With the advances in medical science, it is now
quite usual for patients to live through a critical illness, which
just a few years ago would have killed them. Whilst these medical
advances are most welcome, the ‘downside’ of someone
living instead of dying, when the life policies would have paid
out, is the financial pressure that is often placed on the remainder
of their family.
Critical Illness Cover is just that,
if you are diagnosed as suffering from
any of the following critical illnesses
and survive for a short period of time,
usually, circa, 30-90 days, the CIC provider
would pay out the Sum Assured.
